About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team at First Transit Canada. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, following a predetermined route, on a daily basis during the school year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive students to and from school, following a predetermined route, on a daily basis during the school year
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of vehicles (Safety Round)
  • Communicate clearly and interact with parents, school employees, passengers, colleagues, and the public in a courteous and professional manner
  • Drive nolised passengers to their destination if needed
  • Participate in training sessions
  • Perform other related tasks
Requirements
  • Communicate clearly in French
  • High school diploma (diploma to be provided)
  • Pass a medical examination prescribed by the Ministry, a criminal record check, and other reference checks
  • 6 to 24 months of experience driving a heavy vehicle required
  • Be willing to study and pass exams in Quebec to obtain a Class 2 license
  • Minimum 21 years old
