CNC Field Service Technician

Join our team at Trans-United Consultants Ltd. as a CNC Field Service Technician, where you will be responsible for installing and commissioning new and used CNC machinery, as well as troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearbox and bearings on all CNC equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission new and used CNC machinery (Milling, Lathe, and EDM)
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearbox and bearings on all CNC equipment
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Plan and assist in the implementation of a rigorous preventative maintenance program as well as a predictive maintenance program to minimize machine downtime

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced CNC Field Service Technician who is proficient in PLC and computer controls, with excellent troubleshooting capabilities and a logical approach to problem solving. Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, and Siemens is essential. Millwright certification is an asset.

This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate will be required to work outside of regular business hours and perform on-call support as required.
