About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Representative. As a product expert for Maple Leaf Foods, you will be responsible for executing the brands at the highest level at the outlets you cover. This involves delivering on-call coverage objectives, increasing distribution and visibility of products, executing brand priorities, and building relationships with key store contacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by selling and building displays, placing point-of-sale material, and Plan-o-Gram compliance
  • Merchandise main shelves, displays, and stock replenishment
  • Support new product launches
  • Check and correct distribution voids/out-of-stocks
  • Build relationships with key store personnel
  • Call coverage: Achieve a set number of retail calls every day
  • Product quality control
  • Gather and report on field insights using an iPad

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about sales and merchandising, with a strong desire to drive results. Previous experience in the grocery/retail channel is not required but preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
