We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Erection Specialist to join our team at Brandt Development Ltd. in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand blueprints to plan and execute structural steel installation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimize task sequencing and material handling.
- Work safely at elevated heights using aerial work platforms and ladders.
- Rig, hoist, and move materials with mobile cranes and other equipment.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Travel to various job sites across North America for extended periods.
- Lift at least 50 pounds.

Required Skills:
- Effective communication with technical, professional, and management staff.
- Excellent time management and adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of steel erection and construction experience.
- Journeyperson certification preferred.
- CWB SMAW all-position welding certification.
- Safety training in fall protection and aerial platforms.
- Ability to work shift work.
- Experience with metal building erectors, including pre-engineered and conventional structures.
- Knowledge of roof and wall systems.
- CWB certified in SMAW all-position welding.
