Job DescriptionThis Clinical Nurse Practitioner role will work collaboratively as a member of the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in our inpatient adult mental health unit. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health principles, experience working with adults, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care, prioritizing individual needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, following established documentation protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential risks, taking proactive steps to mitigate them.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to foster a supportive environment.
- RPN diploma from a recognized institution.
- Active RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Experience working in mental health, crisis intervention, or similar fields.
