Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at CL Chartered Professional Accountant Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Office.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work independently, with attention to detail and a strong organizational skills. The ability to work in a team environment is also essential.

The working language for this position is English.
