About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at HULA POKE (Market Mall). As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff performance and productivity.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, including food safety and handling procedures.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Develop and implement effective budgeting and cost control measures to optimize profitability.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is acted upon and that customer satisfaction is consistently high.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
    • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
