Key Responsibilities- Transportation Operations
- Operate buses to transport passengers safely and efficiently.
- Collect fares and record transactions accurately.
- Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules, and stops.
- Customer Service
- Ensure passengers board and exit the vehicle safely.
- Deal with difficult passengers and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other drivers using two-way radio systems.
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and report any issues to the maintenance team.
- Administrative Tasks
- Complete logbooks and reports accurately and on time.
- Deal with public inquiries and provide information on transportation services.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a bus driver.
- Certifications and Licenses
- Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers).
- Personal Qualities
- Attention to detail.
- Hand-eye coordination.
- Sitting for extended periods.
- Language
- Valid driver's licence.
- English language proficiency.
As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with passengers and colleagues. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services.
