About the Role

Transports M. Charette is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team in a long haul operator position. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a semi-trailer truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations;
  • Load and unload cargo as needed, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury;
  • Maintain accurate records of hours driven, fuel consumption, and cargo delivered;
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations;
  • Prioritize safety and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • A valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and a driver's license (Class 1 or A);
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours on the road;
