Job Summary
Herman's Supply Company is seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our warehouse team as a Delivery Support Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery and loading of goods, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods from trucks and trailers
- Ensure all goods are properly secured and stored in the warehouse
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet delivery deadlines
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the warehouse
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 35kg (80lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be organized and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Good customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of customers
- Availability to work during store hours, Monday to Friday
Qualifications
- Must not be afraid of heights up to 2 1/2 storeys
- Experience unloading trucks a definite asset
- Ability to provide a police clearance and have reliable transportation to place of work
- Fall Arrest certificate is an asset but we are willing to train
- Valid G license is an asset
- Tow motor experience is an asset
