About the Role

Peg Pro Painting Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our painting crew as a Building Painter Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced painters with various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as paint, tools, and equipment, from trucks and storage areas.
  • Mixing and Applying Materials: Help mix and apply materials like concrete and asphalt, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Spill Response and Debris Removal: Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads, working at heights, and working in confined spaces.
Requirements
  • Physical Abilities: Be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic, with a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work 30-40 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
