Job Description

Johnson Household Care is seeking a qualified Childcare Provider to join our team. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of our children.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality childcare, including bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, as well as maintain a clean and organized living space.
  • Supervise and engage with children, promoting their emotional and cognitive development.
  • Develop and maintain a daily routine, including rest periods, playtime, and educational activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on the children's activities and well-being.
  • Collaborate with parents to establish and maintain a consistent discipline approach.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, as well as laundry and ironing.
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies, as needed.
  • Travel with the family, providing childcare and housekeeping services during trips.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in childcare, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Working Conditions
  • Non-smoking and scent-free environment.
  • Repetitive tasks, including laundry and cleaning.

  • Weight handling, up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
