Join our team at Barry Callebaut, a leading global chocolate manufacturer, as a CI Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with frontline staff to identify improvement opportunities and develop strategies to increase efficiency.
- Work with production staff to eliminate reoccurring customer complaints and operational errors, and standardize processes to increase first-time yields.
- Develop and implement continuous process improvement initiatives, including the use of tools such as Kaizen and 5S.
- Define and create key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary working groups to drive change and improvement.
- Support the implementation of quality standards and ensure compliance with food and employee safety policies.
- Manage and control corporate improvement tools, including team boards and problem-solving techniques.
- Collaborate with other CI Specialists across the company to share best practices and drive improvement.
- Prepare and present reports and statistics to management and teams to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, with a focus on Six Sigma or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience with SAP is an asset.
