The Technical Project Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the technical project team to successful delivery of OSI systems and solutions. They are accountable for schedule, resource forecasting, and delivery of the project's technical scope according to the requirements of the contract and the agreed project fiscal baseline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects worth $10 million - $25 million.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, incorporating the project plan, labour estimates, and task dependencies.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to derive labour effort and costs.
  • Maintain design consistency and ensure all teams are working toward shared objectives.
  • Responsible for risk management for the technical elements of the project.
  • Work closely with the Program manager and/or Project manager, Project Coordinator, and Project Accountant to support financial reporting, project procurement, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to develop and agree project objectives by reviewing project proposals, contracts, and plans.
  • Develop, manage, and execute end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery of all project deliverables.
  • Work in partnership with the project discipline leads to ensure technical solutions stay within budget and on schedule as per the contract.
  • Act as a key technical point of contact with the customer.
  • Define the responsibilities of the technical roles and tailor project phases, work breakdown structure, and work packages for the technical team.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards, regulations, specifications, and project security requirements.
