The role of a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist at Stacktics is to design, create, deploy, maintain and grow industry-leading cloud infrastructure. As a key member of the team, you will support the Data Systems team in both data engineering and data science-related workflows.

You will be expected to meet and exceed quality standards while helping the organization rapidly expand complex machine learning applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • This position requires a Cloud Data engineer with a background in Python, DBT, SQL and data warehousing for enterprise level systems.
  • You will participate in the continuous delivery pipeline to fully automate the deployment of the highly available cloud platform that supports multiple projects.
  • We are looking for someone who can design, develop, and deploy python scripts and ETL processes in ADF environment to process and analyze varying volumes of data.
  • Experience of DWH, Data Integration, Cloud, Design and Data Modelling.
  • You should be proficient in developing programs in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with Data warehouse Dimensional data modeling.
  • You will perform end to end Data Validation to maintain the accuracy of data sets.
  • A good understanding of deployment of packages and code migrations to stage and prod environments via CI/CD pipelines.
  • You should understand, implement, and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation.
  • You will design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
  • Experience in working with Orchestration tools like Airflow.
  • Experience in working in one of the public clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure), strong preference to GCP.
  • Experience in working with Big Data technologies like Spark, Beam, etc.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years experience in Data Engineering.
  • Understanding of digital ecosystems including online data collection, cloud systems and analytics tools.
  • Strong technical understanding of marketing concepts such as cookie-based data collection, setting and leveraging audience segments, attribution modelling, AB/N & multivariate.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential; candidate should be comfortable presenting and participating in group discussions of concepts with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Candidate must exhibit an analytical, detail-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Experience with Jira / Atlassian project management tools is an asset.
