About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will play a critical role in helping customers achieve their full potential by designing and implementing innovative data and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership and evangelize AWS Analytics services through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking events.
  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Data and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on customer engagements.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS Analytics services teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
  • Develop and support an AWS internal community of Analytics-related subject matter experts worldwide.
  • Build prototypes, PoCs, and explore new solutions to enable customers and partners to fully leverage Amazon Web Services.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • 5+ years of management experience in technical, customer-facing resources.
  • 5+ years of Analytics experience.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Experience managing data and ETL pipelines.
  • Experience as a leader and mentor on a data analytics team.
  • Active in the open-source community, such as Apache Spark.
  • Large distributed big data processing and data warehouse experience.
