Job Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently
- Provide expert advice on various insurance products, including home and auto insurance, to ensure clients have the right coverage for their needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique circumstances and preferences
- Collaborate with internal teams to stay up-to-date on product offerings, industry trends, and regulatory changes
- Meet and exceed sales targets, converting leads into sales through effective communication and negotiation skills
Requirements
- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent on-the-job experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in home and auto insurance brokerage
- RIBO licensure required, with a commitment to maintaining valid and up-to-date certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts to clients
- Proficiency in computer applications, with a focus on digital enablement and efficiency
- High level of integrity, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Results-oriented, with a strong customer service focus and ability to work in fast-paced environments
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000, commensurate with experience and performance. This figure may include a combination of base earnings and commissions.
