The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Yoga Instructor to join our team at Personnel Support Programs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering fitness, sports, recreation, and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
Under the supervision of a Recreation Program Coordinator, you will plan, organize, and deliver Yoga classes, demonstrating and instructing Yoga and fitness activities and techniques. You will also assemble supplies and equipment as required, attend to clients with special needs, and prepare class schedules.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma
- A Yoga Teachers Certificate
- Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
- Some years' experience conducting Yoga classes
- Strong client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership skills
English is the primary language of communication in this role. You will be required to have:
- Functional oral communication skills
