About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Behavioral Health Manager to join our team at Shannex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with at least 5 years of experience in clinical nursing and 2 years of administrative experience. Additionally, they should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating behavioral support programs. They will also coordinate outreach services and education, as well as facilitate complex targeted admissions. As a leader in the interdisciplinary setting, they will perform managerial duties and provide clinical leadership and oversight of the electronic client documentation system.

About You

">

To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and be currently registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia. You should also have previous experience working with seniors in retirement living or long-term care environments.
