English Instructor for International Students

The Niagara Catholic District School Board's International Education Division is seeking a qualified English Instructor to join our team. As an English Instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach English language skills to international students in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct English language skills to international students in after-school programs virtually and/or in-person
- Coordinate classroom activities that promote language development and cultural exchange
- Evaluate student progress using entry and exit language assessments
- Work effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-racial environment with respect and sensitivity towards all learners
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
- Travel to various locations within the Niagara Catholic District jurisdiction as needed
Requirements:
- University degree in a related field (e.g. English, Education, Linguistics)
- Standard 1 TESL Certificate or English as a Second Language (ESL) Part 1 or higher
- Previous experience instructing English language skills to international students
