Job Summary:

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a skilled Plumber Apprentice to join our team. As a Plumber Apprentice, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. You will work closely with our experienced plumbers to learn the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and equipment used to distribute, supply, or dispose of water or wastewater.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Perform general and specific equipment inspections.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.

Requirements:
  • A growth mindset, above all else, we're looking for people who are dependable, ambitious, and want to grow with Reliance.
  • Registered Plumber Apprentice in Level 3 or 4 with new home residential experience.
  • Must have a driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
