About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Damascus, Café and bakery. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing dough for a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality products meet our established standards, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of 1 to 2 people to achieve our bakery goals.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery setting.
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English.
