Job Opportunity:
The University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in the area of American Studies. The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an expected start date of July 1, 2025.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be named the Bissell-Heyd-Associates Chair in American Studies for a five-year term, which will be renewable following a favourable review. In addition, the successful candidate may hold the appointment of Director, Centre for the Study of the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and conduct research in the area of American Studies
- Contribute to the development of the Centre for the Study of the United States
- Engage in academic leadership and service to the University
Requirements:
