Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Heavy Metal Equipment and Rentals.
About the JobThis is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing heavy-duty equipment.
The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and resolving mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Keep maintenance records and documentation
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks and service attachments and working tools
- Verify and repair emission control systems
- Physically demanding environment with regular exposure to dust and noise
- Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)
- Overtime required during peak periods
- Estimated salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
