We are seeking a skilled Pizza Maker to join our team at POPULAR PIZZA. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Supply Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment: Restaurant setting with a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, attention to detail, and work under pressure.
- Free Parking: Free parking available for employees.
- Permanent Position: Permanent work term with a guaranteed number of hours.
- Language: English language required for communication and work.
- Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
