Job Description:
As a Satellite Electrical Power Systems Engineer at MDA, you will play a critical role in designing and developing electrical power systems for our satellites. You will be responsible for providing architecture for satellite and payloads, bus power sizing, definition, performance analysis, implementation, and validation. Additionally, you will design and verify complete electrical and harness systems, including EMC and verification and validation of electrical and power architecture.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Satellite and Payloads Architecture for Electrical Power design and EMC.
  • Satellite & Payload complete Electrical, EMC and Harness design.
  • Verification and Validation of Electrical and Power Architecture.
  • Satellite Bus power sizing suitable for particular missions.
  • Definition of power systems from Solar arrays to battery.
  • Support to mission analysis & requirements.
