About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Maintenance Technician to join our team at Padda & Son Transport Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial transport trucks to identify and repair any mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Parts Replacement and Adjustment: Replace and adjust parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including automotive and truck-trailer systems.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, advising them on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports on problems and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
