About the Opportunity

FCM Travel is seeking a talented Prototype Engineer to join our team as we push the boundaries of business travel innovation. As a key member of our prototyping team, you will work closely with our leadership to design and develop cutting-edge solutions that transform the way companies manage their travel programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team to test hypotheses and explore new ideas, translating them into tangible software prototypes.
  • Design user interfaces that accurately represent the final product, creating mockups and interactive UI elements to give stakeholders a clear understanding of the software's look and feel.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand software concepts, requirements, and objectives, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of our clients.
  • Conduct usability testing sessions with end-users or stakeholders to gather feedback on the prototype's user experience, refining our designs to meet the highest standards.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly, ensuring seamless collaboration with our team and stakeholders.
  • Experience with building and architecting high-quality software from scratch, with a focus on rapid application development techniques and tools.
  • Proficiency in client-side frameworks such as React or Angular, with experience in mobile application development using React Native a plus.
  • Strong experience with state containers, JavaScript testing frameworks, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of data science and related technologies, with experience with AWS, EC3, S3, RDS, CloudFront/CDNs, and Linux a plus.
