Our Infrastructure Engineering team provides secure, reliable, scalable, and performant Infrastructure to Carta's customers and developers, utilizing cloud computing, networking, systems design, architecture, storage, real-time data telemetry, associated automation, tooling, and processes.
Our stack includes Python, Java, Terraform, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgres, running on AWS. As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will collaborate with experienced professionals to solve complex problems.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and deploy cloud-based infrastructure solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with application software engineers to design scalable and maintainable applications.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in our systems as we expand globally.
Requirements:
- Significant experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- Expertise in using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, containerization, and service mesh technologies.
- Strong proficiency in monitoring tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Advanced Python programming skills and experience with database management systems.
