Welder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Avantis Marine North America Inc. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced welder to work on various projects in the marine industry.

• Interpret welding process specifications and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and flux core arc welding (FCAW).
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

• No degree, certificate, or diploma is required; however, 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding is essential.
• Must be able to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Overtime may be required.

• A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and location.
