About This Opportunity

Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at our North York facility. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities to ensure the efficient production of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and train a team of production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure a safe working environment by promoting safety awareness and implementing safety protocols. Monitor and maintain high-quality production standards.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Manage daily maintenance activities, including work orders, work schedules, and employee files. Ensure that all tasks and procedures are followed safely and correctly.
  • Planning and Coordination: Support the maintenance department in planning shutdown work, reviewing parts and schedules, and ensuring that all necessary information is transferred between shifts and departments.
  • Performance Management: Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective measures to improve team performance.
  • Asset Utilization: Maximize fixed asset utilization rates to optimize production efficiency.
  • Communication: Ensure effective communication between shifts and departments to ensure seamless production operations.
  • Compliance: Comply with all company policies, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), AIB, ISO, OSHA, Quality and Safety Standards.
  • Financial Management: Manage labor and operations within operating expenses (OPEX) budget.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership/supervisory experience is required.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work dayshift, evening shift, or night shift, and be on call as required.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent general computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). SAP experience is an asset.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships and manage multiple projects to meet target deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written).
  • Education: University Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a technical red seal diploma in Electrical. Preference given to applicants with PLC knowledge and experience.
  • Industry Experience: Previous work in a maintenance manufacturing environment is required.
