Foilcon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts for large systems in Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-Graphical User Interface (GUI) environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases to ensure high-quality software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, project management, and IT, to identify and prioritize testing efforts.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing, including functional, non-functional, and systems-level integration testing.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain test data, including creating test cases and test scripts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to ensure Foilcon's testing practices remain current and effective.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance, testing, and software development.
  • Extensive experience with test management tools, such as Azure DevOps and Microfocus ALM 12.5.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality testing results and identifying defects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cloud technology, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of licensing and control systems, legacy mainframe systems, and payment gateway services.
  • Experience with mainframe tools, such as TSO/SPF, and Java technologies.
  • Knowledge of IMS/DB2/SQL/Oracle databases and UNIX.
  • Experience with.NET platform.
