Java Fullstack Developer

Infosys is seeking a skilled Java Fullstack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in enabling digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model. You will be responsible for researching technologies independently, recommending appropriate solutions, and contributing to technology-specific best practices and standards.

You will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Requirements:

  • You must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding. This position may require travel in the US.
  • A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty can be considered in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology are required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in OOPS, Java, Springboot, ReactJS/Angular, SQL Server / Oracle are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A good understanding of Agile software development frameworks is desirable.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
  • The ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams is required.
  • Experience and a desire to work in a global delivery environment are preferred.

This role entails extensive travel and requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. You should be able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
