We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team at Wall Expert Drywall Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints. Additionally, they will be responsible for cleaning and preparing surfaces, cutting and installing metal corner beads, and filling joints and nail indentations with joint compound.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for mixing plaster ingredients to the desired consistency, smoothing out excess compound, and allowing coats to dry. They will also be required to tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.

Other responsibilities include attaching metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring, cutting openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets, and installing corner beads and wire mesh around beams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work under pressure. They will also be required to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments, and be willing to relocate.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required. Experience is an asset.

Work site environment: At heights, dusty, noisy. Work setting: Commercial, residential, rural area, urban area, various locations. Relocation costs covered by employer.

Security and safety: Criminal record check required.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye co-ordination, manual dexterity, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, work under pressure.

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Personal suitability: Flexibility, reliability, team player.
