Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time and Casual Dietary Aide to join our team at Extendicare Canada Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and service of resident meals and nourishments
  • Support the overall operation of the kitchen by completing other tasks as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or working towards completion of high school diploma
  • Previous work experience in long term care or seniors housing an asset
  • Current food handlers' certificate is an asset
  • Ability to read and write English as well as to understand verbal and written instructions in English
  • Mentally and physically able to perform duties and maintain regular attendance
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated concern and interest in providing quality care and service for residents
