Job ResponsibilitiesThe Quality Assurance Specialist/Procurement Quality Assurance Representative reports to the Procurement Quality Assurance Manager and is responsible for planning, performing, and documenting surveillance activities on suppliers. This includes verifying and witnessing fabrication, inspection, and testing, as well as reviewing supporting documentation and records to ensure that specified requirements are met.
Key Performance Indicators- Ensure that suppliers meet the required quality standards and regulations
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address non-compliance issues
- Maintain accurate records of supplier audit results and corrective actions taken
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance supply chain compliance
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Engineering, preferably in a nuclear field
- Minimum 5-8 years of practical experience in a relevant nuclear field
- Working knowledge of CSA N 285.0, CSA N 299's series, and ASME codes
- Advanced computing skills and functionality with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong oral and written communication skills
