Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Installation Specialist to join our team at DJ TRILLIUM LTD. As an Appliance Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining household appliances in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain household appliances in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Determine layout and installation procedures to ensure efficient and safe installation.
  • Document and prepare invoices and work orders for completed installations.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations, and prepare and maintain work materials and supplies.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, and utilize hand and power tools as needed.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to installation sites.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation, and ensure that all installations meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in appliance installation or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy loads, and work at heights as required.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a construction environment with exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
  • Work in a team environment with frequent communication and collaboration with colleagues.
