Job Summary

Prodigy Enterprises Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as administer benefits and other employee-related programs.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, as well as ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
