About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Railtown Apparel Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Verify Goods: Carefully inspect incoming goods against invoices and other documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Record Shortages and Damaged Goods: Record any discrepancies or damage to goods received, and take necessary actions to resolve issues.
  • Route Goods to Storage: Efficiently route goods to designated storage areas, ensuring timely and accurate storage.
  • Pack and Unpack Goods: Pack goods for shipment and unpack goods received, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Oversee Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Arrange Shipping Documentation: Coordinate the preparation and submission of shipping documentation, including tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Warehouse or retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
