About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marine Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Design and Engineering Services team and delivering projects within our market area. You will provide technical leadership to a team of experienced engineers on a long-term deployment at one of our overseas client sites.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and a minimum of 15 years of experience in a marine engineering environment. You will also need to have experience leading teams within a maritime design program and an understanding of standards for government and commercial vessels.

Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering design and analysis advice and consultancy
Participate in multi-disciplinary project teams
Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with the project statement of work and is checked in accordance with the relevant project and/or BMT Quality Procedure
Utilize knowledge of domain-specific standards to support client requirements
Provide Technical Assurance (TA) of design deliverables or provide guidance and advice to others doing these TA activities
Oversee the technical team and all tasks they undertake, analyze briefs, write progress reports, deliver presentations to the relevant stakeholders, identify risks, and develop work schedules
