Job Summary

Vista Physiotherapy and Massage is seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in the assessment and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physiotherapists in the assessment and treatment of patients
  • Examine patients to gather information about their condition
  • Help physical therapists with patient care and treatment
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and treatment plans
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
  • Process files and paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception and booking appointments
  • Teach and supervise exercises to patients to promote recovery and independence
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a physiotherapy setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
