Audiology Specialist

About the Role

The Fraser Health Authority is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing audiology services in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides assessment, audiological diagnosis and prognosis, treatment plan and intervention development, implementation and evaluation
• Screens referrals and supervises designated staff
• Participates in approved audiology and interprofessional research, special projects, and quality and safety activities

Requirements

• Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC)
• Minimum one (1) year recent related experience working as an Audiologist with both pediatric and older adult populations
• Knowledge of audiology theory and practice within a patient and family centered model of care
