Claims Counsel Job Description

We are seeking experienced lawyers to join our Claims Department at LAWPRO. As a Claims Counsel, you will manage a diverse portfolio of files related to claims against Ontario lawyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of files relating to claims against Ontario lawyers.
  • Assist Insureds directly or retain and instruct external legal counsel as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the LAWPRO team to resolve claims efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Law degree from an accredited institution.
  • Membership in the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
