Oncology Hospitalist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oncology Hospitalist to join our team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will provide comprehensive general medical care to acutely ill cancer patients, working collaboratively with our oncology team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency assessments and formulate care plans for patients with complex medical needs
  • Conduct bedside procedures and discuss patient care with families and healthcare teams
  • Develop and implement discharge plans to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes
Requirements:
  • Registration for independent practice with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • Valid OHIP billing number
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
