We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to champion the claims process from start to end, providing a seamless experience for our clients through ongoing advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze policy wordings to determine applicable coverage
  • Process new loss information on applicable claims system
  • Negotiate and advocate on behalf of the insured through the settlement process
  • Proactively manage all claims to conclusion using an effective abeyance system
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends and provide future risk mitigation strategies
  • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend meetings, mediations, and settlement conferences

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a claim's role
  • Experience in Commercial Insurance
  • Completed Post-Secondary education in a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
