Superintendent of Service Metals Operations

Flynn Group of Companies is a leading organization in the construction industry, seeking an experienced Service Metals Superintendent to support its Vancouver Branch in Surrey, BC. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role involves working closely with the team to ensure efficient project execution and customer satisfaction.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, reviewing project progress, and managing inventory. They will work closely with field technicians, foremen, and customers to ensure seamless communication and quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Project Coordination
- Review and document revisions/change orders
- Collaborate with the Service Manager on project and billing progress
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Dispatch calls to field technicians with necessary job information
- Monitor compliance with Health and Safety requirements and Flynn policies
- Order and manage Service Inventory, material best practices, and safety equipment distribution
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a Construction environment; Service Metals/Cladding experience is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, stay organized, and perform in a deadline-oriented environment
- Reliable and strong problem-solving skills
- Work independently as well as in a team-based environment
