About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tire Repair Technician to join our team at Island Tires Ltd. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fluid Maintenance: Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Engine Maintenance: Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Heavy Equipment Maintenance: Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment to ensure smooth operation.
  • Installation and Repair: Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators as needed.
  • On-Site Services: Provide on-site services to customers, ensuring prompt and efficient repairs.
  • Tire Repair and Balancing: Repair and balance tires to ensure safe and optimal vehicle performance.
  • Filter Replacement: Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a 40-hour workweek, and a focus on providing excellent customer service.
