Island Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • Basic Life Support, Level C certification, and up to one year of recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Specialty certification for Operating Room, Post Anesthetic Recovery, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, and Psychiatry units, with up to two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • The ability to apply the nursing process effectively in a well-organized manner to the care of assigned patients.
