Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Collision Repair Technician to join our team at Big Rig Collision (Grande Prairie) Ltd. in Grande Prairie. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for leading the way in delivering high-quality auto body repairs.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime and professional development. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced collision repair environment and possess strong leadership skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify areas requiring repair and develop effective plans to restore them to their pre-accident condition.
  • Lead teams of technicians in the performance of complex repairs, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and safely.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery of quality service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to continually improve our services and efficiency.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a collision repair technician or lead/ supervisor role in the industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coach team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong understanding of collision repair principles, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
