About the Role

Clark Wood, a leading independent firm of accountants in West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Senior Audit and Financial Management Professional to join their growing team.

This key hire will play a crucial role in the firm's growth and development, offering an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the success of a well-established practice.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the audit department, ensuring compliance with professional standards and maintaining audit programs and procedures.
  2. Manage the completion of audits, including fee negotiations, billing, accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT, corporation tax, and related matters.
  3. Supervise, train, and develop audit staff.
  4. Assist with administrative tasks, such as debt collection in coordination with the accounts supervisor.
  5. Contribute to the firm's decision-making and management meetings.

What We Offer
